Yamaha Grand and Upright Pianos

Why we love to restore Yamaha grand and upright pianos

Yamaha pianos were built extremely well and very consistent. Its almost hard to tell the difference when comparing model to model. Replacement parts are always available.

History of Yamaha

Yamaha was established all the way back in 1887 as a piano and reed organ manufacturer by Torakusu Yamaha as Nippon Gakki Company, Limited ( Japan Musical Instrument Manufacturing Corporation). Piano production surged during the early 1960s. By the mid-1960’s, the company was building 100,000 instruments a year, making it the world’s leading piano manufacturer. Today Yamaha continues to manufacture high quality pianos and innovate, with inventions such as the remarkable Silent Piano which is a regular acoustic piano that can also be played through headphones.
