Piano Tuning & Voicing

Each piano we restore is tuned 8 times in our restoration department to "stretch" the new strings.

We recommend that newly restrung pianos be tuned 4- 6 times the 1st year in the home or studio or as needed to maintain A-440 pitch. Pianos that have already gone through this "break in period" are recommended to be tuned 3 - 4 times a year or as needed to maintain A-440 pitch.
