Question: If I purchase a piano how much does it cost to have it delivered?

Answer: When you purchase a piano from us shipping & setup are FREE some exclusions apply

 

Question: If we have our piano restored by you how much is shipping?

Answer: Depending on what state you live in and the amount of stairs involved in the move prices may vary.

Examples:

From Boston, MA to our restoration facility in NY costs approx: $350.00

From Richmond, VA to our restoration facility in NY costs approx: $550.00

From Orlando, FL to our restoration facility in NY costs approx: $750.00

From Los Angles, CA to our restoration facility in NY costs approx: $900.00

Question: How long does it take to have a piano fully restored?

Answer: Depending on our current work load, full restoration can take 3 - 4 months. A high quality job should never be rushed.

 

Question: Who will maintain & tune my piano?

Answer: We will assign you a highly qualified piano technician to maintain and tune your piano throughout its life. Also our warranty works through that individual.

 

Question: How often should I have my piano tuned?

Answer: We recommend that newly restrung pianos be tuned 4-6 times the 1st year or as needed to maintain A-440 pitch. Pianos that have already gone through the "break in period" are recommended to be tuned 2-4 times a year or as needed to maintain A-440 pitch.

 

Question: What replacement parts do you use on your piano restorations?

Answer: The replacement parts we use depend on what type of piano we are restoring. The following parts have been time tested and proven to be more superior than any other parts on the market.

Actions Parts: Renner & Steinway

Pinblocks: Multilaminate Maple

Soundboards: Sitka Spruce & Northern White Spruce

Bridge caps: Quartersawn Hardrock Maple

Strings Treble and Bass: Mapes International Gold Series Wire and Roslau piano wire
